Island Images: Koloa Camp

John Kruse and his son, Kepa, stood in front of the Koloa Camp plantation home where Kruse raised his son and has lived in for the past 32 years. Residents in the camp were given 120 day eviction notices on November 8, 2011 by land owner Grove Farm Co, Inc. which notified tenants that the area will be used as a site for an affordable housing project.
