RIMPAC: August 1, 2012

A mortar rocket flies off as personnel engage in enemy targets at Ulupau Crater. Approximately 400 personnel from five nations will be conducting a simultaneous mechanized and helicopter-borne assault at Pyramid Rock Beach and Landing Zone Boondocker. After the landings, the exercise force will move to live-fire ranges in the Ulupau Crater, where the combined force will engage simulated enemy targets.
