President Barack Obama kissed Irene Hirano Ino­uye, widow of U.S. Sen. Daniel Ino­uye, as she held the flag that had been draped over her husband’s casket during a service Sunday at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl. The memorial service capped four days of formal tributes to Ino­uye in Washington and Hono­lulu. The senator died Dec. 17 at age 88.
