WWII veterans 'Victory Parade'

A "victory parade" was held for the Japanese-American soldiers of the 100th Battalion, the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, the Military Intelligence Service and 1,399th Engineer Construction Battalion on Saturday morning along Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki. The parade was followed by a ceremony presenting the Congressional Gold Medal to 450 veterans. Riding in a trolley during the parade were Tsutomu Oi, Military Intelligence Service (MIS); Stanley Matsuura, 442nd Regimental Combat Team; Andrew Sato, MIS; and Glenn Arakaki, MIS.
