King's influence vital to 'Broken Trust'

In 1997 King joined three Hawaiian elders -- Walter Heen, back row left, Gladys Brandt and Charles Kekumano, front row left -- and law professor Randy Roth in a scathing essay, "Broken Trust," targeting the Bishop Estate, which was published in the Honolulu Star-Bulletin.
