A boogie-boarder hugged one of his rescuers yesterday after being pulled from rough waters by lifeguards and firefighters at Lanai Lookout. Fire Capt. Gary Lum said the man was caught in strong currents and could not get ashore about 5 p.m. A paramedic spokesman said the man was taken to a hospital for minor injuries.
