Hawaii hotels hit midyear with record revenue

Statewide hotel revenue through June rose to nearly $1.6 billion, a 14.8 percent gain over the first six months of 2011. Visitors checked in at the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Tuesday in Waikiki.
