Discovery of Korean War letters prompts search
Fred DeSimone of New Britain, Conn., and his daughter Lana Ogrodnik of Waterbury, Conn., looked through a photo album of photos of Fred's brother Nicholas DeSimone, Jr., who went missing while serving in Korea in July 1953. While helping her father organize his New Britain home, Ogrodnik found a stack of letters from Nicholas.
