Riding the tourism wave

High surf equals higher tourism. Higher surf has brought waves of tourism to the North Shore. Turtle Bay is full of surfing pros, clinics and surfer guests. These 5 women from Spain try out the paddleboards. Paddling are (l-r) Teresa Herrero, Sandra Sanz (farthest out), Stefania Ruilope, Veronica Herrero, instructor, Rocky Canon (with his surfing dog "Pulu") and just getting out, in the foreground is Maica Herrero (the Herrero's are sisters). They were just given instructions from Rocky Canon.
