Mochi ice cream producer Frances Hashimoto dies

Frances Hashimoto, right, seen in this November 23, 1978 file photograph, the third generation owner of Mikawaya confection store in Little Tokyo and a leader in the Japanese American community in Los Angeles, has died of lung cancer November 4, 2012, at her home in Pasadena, California.
