Stranded sampan crushing coral in Kaneohe Bay

The 40-foot wooden sampan Boom Boom went aground Tuesday south of the Ahu o Laka sandbar in Kaneohe Bay. The Nature Conservancy says the vessel is sitting on live coral and damaging the reef.
