Lava reaches ocean? Maybe not, scientists now say

Steam rises from a lava flow this morning. Scientists say it's not clear if the steam was generated by lava entering the ocean or by rain falling on the flow. This image is from a temporary research camera positioned on the pali, west of the flows, looking towards the east.
