Puppy breeder pleads no contest to 153 counts of animal cruelty

David Lee Becker pleaded no contest Tuesday to 153 counts of animal cruelty for his role as manager of a Wai­ma­nalo dog breeding facility. Becker conferred with his lawyer, Tae Won Kim, in the courtroom of Judge Glenn Kim on Tuesday at Circuit Court in downtown Hono­lulu.
