Inouye receives Capitol farewell befitting a great statesman
Irene Hirano Inouye, widow of Sen. Daniel Inouye, D-Hawaii looks at the casket of her husband as he lies in state in the Capitol Rotunda in Washington today. Inouye was a Medal of Honor recipient who represented his state in the U.S. House and then the Senate, where he served for five decades. He died Monday at age 88 of respiratory complications.
