UH biosafety lab on Kalaeloa site gets federal OK

The National Institutes of Health gave its OK to a biosafety lab planned for Kalaeloa. Laarni Sumibcay conducts research in the John A. Burns School of Medicine’s biosafety level 3 facility in Kakaako.
