Fire department warns of firecracker dangers

Firecrackers go on sale today through New Year’s Eve at local retailers and may be set off between 9 p.m. New Year’s Eve and 1 a.m. New Year's Day. Firecrackers were on display at Don Quijote last year, the first year of the ban on fireworks.
