OHA will give poi factory to Garden Isle nonprofit

Buckets of cubed taro will be ground into paste at Kauai’s Makaweli Poi Mill, owned by the Office of Hawaiian Affairs and run by a community group. OHA is turning the factory over to the Lehua Poi Co.
