U.S. drones kill senior Taliban figure in Pakistan

Pakistani militant commander Maulvi Nazir met his associates in South Waziristan, Pakistan near the Afghani border. Five Pakistani security officials said the commander, Nazir, was reportedly among nine people killed in a missile strike on a house in the village of Angoor Adda in the South Waziristan tribal region early today.
