A man who declined to be identified held an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle at a gun-rights rally in Hartford, Conn., last month. The “Guns Across America” rally at state Capitol buildings across the country aimed to raise concerns about possible new legislation affecting gun owners’ rights in the aftermath of the Dec. 14 mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.
