Ex-LAPD cop tried to steal boat, flee to Mexico, authorities say

Irvine police Chief David L. Maggard announced at a news conference Wednesday that former Los Angeles police officer Christopher Jordan Dorner, whose image is projected at right, behind Maggard, is a suspect in the killings of Monica Quan and her fiance, Keith Lawrence, who were found shot to death in their car at a parking structure Sunday night.
