Proposals gone awry

Val Hunt Beerbower and her husband Mike at Maumee Bay State Park in Oregon, Ohio. Mike proposed during what he had envisioned as a special evening taking in the sights of Washington, D.C. However, Beerbower was exhausted from a full day on her feet and inadvertently stepped into a foul-smelling pool of water.
