Tuna collapse fears fail to curb Japan's appetite
A prospective buyer inspected the quality of tuna before the first auction of the year at the Tsukiji Market in Tokyo on Jan. 5. Catching bluefin tuna, called "hon-maguro" here, is a lucrative business. A single full-grown specimen can sell for 2 million yen, or $20,000, at Tokyo's sprawling Tsukiji fish market.
