Hawaii Sign Language found to be distinct language

Linda Lambrecht used Hawaii Sign Language at a press conference in Honolulu today. Linguists say they've determined a Hawaii Sign Language is not a dialect of American Sign Language, as many long believed, but an unrelated language with unique vocabulary and grammar.
