Hawaiian Air begins flights to New Zealand

Members of the crew onboard Hokule‘a’s 1985 voyage from Cook Islands to New Zealand that originated in Hawaii were on Wednesday’s flight. They are Chad Baybayan, left, Billy Richards, Bruce Blankenfeld, Tava Taupu, legendary Hawaii surfer but non-crew member Buffalo Keaulana (who was on the flight), Harry Ho, Buddy McGuire and Nainoa Thompson.
