N.Y. murder-rape suspect removed monitor quickly

New York State Police led David Renz out of the North Syracuse state police barracks on Friday. Renz, 29, was able to remove and reassemble his court-ordered electronic monitoring bracelet to go undetected for hours while killing a woman and raping her 10-year-old daughter, federal authorities said.
