For Boy Scouts in Hawaii and in the United States, 2010 marks 100 years of Scouting. Each Sunday throughout the year, the Star-Advertiser will present historic photographs and factoids to help commemorate the centennial.
Did you know that this year's top popcorn salesman of the Aloha Council sold more than $30,000 worth of popcorn? Congratulations to Trevor Boyce of Cub Scout Pack 167, chartered by the Gentry Waipio Community Association, on this recognition and the iPad prize. On average, each Scout sold about $1,500 worth of popcorn.
