» The Kaimuki Orchid Show is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 30 and 31, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Star of the Sea cafeteria. The Home & Garden calendar on Page D8 Monday said the event was this weekend at Kalani High School. The online version has been corrected.

» Waialae Baptist Church's 60th-anniversary celebration has already taken place. A calendar item on Page B6 Saturday said the event will be held later this month. The online version has been corrected.

» The correct e-mail address to comment on proposed strawberry guava biocontrol is hdoa.ppc@hawaii.gov. An incorrect address was listed in a Page A17 article yesterday. The online version has been corrected.

» The Litchman family of Honolulu has donated $150,000 to fund University of Hawaii research into neurodegenerative disorders and mental illness. The donation will help fund various projects, including Dr. Christina Bell's research on Alzheimer's disease. A "Shining Stars" item on Page B2 Monday implied that the donation was solely going to Bell's project.
