» Hawaii's Children First wants voters to replace an elected Board of Education with one appointed by the governor. A headline on Page B1 yesterday said it wanted an elected school board. The online edition has been corrected.

» Bert "BJ" A. Kobayashi Jr., president and CEO of Kobayashi Group LLC, has been selected as a member of the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Hawaii Host Committee. A photograph of Bert A. Kobayashi Sr. ran with the story on the host committee on Page B2 on Sunday. The online edition has been corrected.

» The estate of two former University of Hawaii-Hilo professors donated a bequest gift of $810,000 to the university, the largest such gift ever made to UH-Hilo. A brief Sunday said it was a monetary gift. The online edition has been corrected.
