Donald Baldwin Allen, 89, of Kailua, a retired Hawaiian Insurance and Guaranty president and Army veteran who served during World War II and the Korean war, died in Castle Medical Center. He was born in New Jersey. He is survived by wife Joan D.; sons John D. III and Donald B.; daughter Patricia; sister Clare Kleutz; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services: 4 p.m. Thursday at Kalama Beach Club. Casual attire. In lieu of of flowers, donations suggested to Shriner's Hospital.
