Scouts were champions of environmental stewardship long before "green" became a popular term. They practice the Leave No Trace virtues: to protect and preserve the environment and to "leave it better than found." Leave No Trace promotes outdoor ethics, environmental awareness and attitude rather than a set of rules. It applies in the back yard, local parks and back country -- wherever our Scouts are present.
