Koko Marina Center named Mid-Pacific Institute the $2,500 first place winner of its Make Life Fun! Commercial Contest for high school students islandwide. Kaiser High School's Communication Arts & Technology Learning Center took the $1,500 second prize; Kalaheo, third, won $1,000. The top three also received gift certificates. Roosevelt's Communication Arts & Technology Center and Waipahu High School received honorable mention awards and $250 each.
