Gun and dog leash used in robbery

A 19-year-old woman had a handgun pointed to her head and was pulled to the ground by a dog leash wrapped around her neck during a robbery Monday morning in Kalihi, police said.

A man in his 20s pointed a gun at the woman at 8:50 a.m. yesterday as a 36-year-old man allegedly took the woman's wallet, police said.

A 29-year-old woman then allegedly wrapped a dog leash around the victim's neck and pulled her to the ground, police said.

The victim escaped and later pointed out the woman and 36-year-old man to police, who arrested them for investigation of first-degree robbery.

The man who pointed the gun at the woman remains at large, police said.
