He is survived by wife Beatrice, daughters Cheryl Fong and Cathy Ng, brother Howard, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Visitation: 9 a.m. Monday at Borthwick Mortuary. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.

Clarence Andrew "Cliff" Eblen, 86, of Honolulu, an Army veteran and Hawaii Public Radio founder and general manager, died in Hale Ho Aloha Nursing Home. He was born in Louisville, Ky. He is survived by wife Carol; son Paul; daughters Wendy Sherwood, Lani Egbert and Janet Eblen; brother Jack; sister Marie Gaudielle; and six grandchildren.
