Police arrested a 34-year-old man yesterday morning after he allegedly threatened to kill everyone on board a city bus in Kapolei, police said.
The man allegedly demanded four transfers at about 1:10 a.m. and told the driver to stop the bus immediately, police said.
He allegedly told the driver that he had a weapon and would kill the driver and everyone else on the bus, police said.
The driver notified his supervisor, and police located the bus and arrested the suspect on suspicion of interfering with the operator of a public transit vehicle and for alleged second-degree robbery.
No weapon was found and no one was injured.
A 22-year-old woman was arrested Saturday after she allegedly hit her mother in the back of the head with a folding chair during an argument in Waianae, police said.
The woman and her 50-year-old mother got into an argument at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday and were separated by family members, police said.
As the mother walked away, the daughter allegedly hit her with the chair, police said.
The mother was taken to a hospital and later released.
The daughter left the house and was arrested later for investigation of second-degree assault.
