» The powered glider that crashed off Kauai Tuesday was an Edge XT-912-L "light sport aircraft." Page A1 and B1 headlines and a B1 caption yesterday referred to it as an ultralight craft. The Edge XT-912-L, manufactured by Airborne Windsports, is not an experimental aircraft, as the Page B1 article stated. Also, Big Sky Kauai is a powered-glider flight school company, not a tour business as was reported.
» Marine Corps Base Hawaii is scheduled to receive three squadrons of P-8A Poseidons and a total of 18 aircraft. A Page B1 story yesterday reported the base is scheduled to receive two squadrons.
» The Semi-Homemade Ramen Bowl recipe calls for 3 teaspoons of dashi. The recipe in "The Little Foodie" column yesterday on Page D5 said tablespoons.
