Arthur Baxter, 86, of Pearl City, a retired Hawaiian Telephone Co. engineer, a retired Army lieutenant colonel who served in the Vietnam War, and a Navy aviator who served during World War II and the Korean War, died in Pearl City. He was born in Kettle Falls, Wash. He is survived by wife Norma, son Dennis, daughters Patti Gutzeit and Cyndi Denomie, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
