» Princess Ruth was the godmother to Princess Kaiulani. A Page A11 article on April 27 reported that Queen Victoria was her godmother.

» Kapua Dalire-Moe is the kumu hula of Halau Ka Liko Pua o Kalaniakea, which placed third in the wahine auana category of the 48th annual Merrie Monarch Festival. The list of winners on Page D3 Monday omitted her name.
