Fire and police crews will resume a search tomorrow for the third and final day in Mokuleia for a missing 40-year-old Norwegian professor who disappeared Saturday while on a trail run at Peacock Flats.

Are Hjorungnes, a visiting University of Oslo professor who has been in Hawaii since July as a researcher at the University of Hawaii, was last seen at 9:45 a.m. Saturday running with a group known as HURT (Hawaiian Ultra Running Team). A woman who was running with them said they had stopped almost at the top of the ridge when he and another runner took off ahead of the group and he took a wrong turn.
