William G. "Bill" Cupit, 78, of Goodyear, Ariz., a former Hawaii National Distinguished Principal and longtime principal of Barbers Point Elementary School, died in Goodyear. He was born in Beaumont, Texas. He is survived by wife Charla, daughters Syndie and Denise, brothers Billy and Pat, sisters Judy and Kathy, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
