Joseph John "Joe" Adams, 95, of Honolulu, a military governor of Lanai and Army veteran who served in World War II and a retired deputy public guardian in California, died in Pali Momi Medical Center. He was born in Dickson City, Pa. He is survived by son Joseph J. III; daughters Margaret C. Cross, and Jo-Ann M. and Mary K. Adams; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
