Hazel Costa Maikui Borengasser, 83, of Waimea, Hawaii, formerly of Kaaawa, Oahu, and Madbury, N.H., a chef at Hana's Kitchen in Kaaawa and many other restaurants on Oahu, and a floral wedding designer for the Elliot Rose Co. in Madbury and the former Watanabe's in Waimea, died in North Hawaii Community Hospital. She was born in Ookala, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Charles G., Leonard "Bully" and John Costa; daughters Valerie Colprit and Karen Young; brothers Alika and Albert Maikui and Henry Pau; sisters Mahoe Eugenio, Louisa Labardora, Betty Ann Souza, Grace "Darling" Teraoka, Golden Josephs and Harriet Knight; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
