» The Hawaiian Humane Society removed purebred Pomeranians in May from what it described as "extremely filthy" living conditions at a breeder's Halawa house. An "Off the News" item on Page A15 Friday wrongly combined facts of that incident with that of a Wai­ma­nalo dog-breeding facility where dogs were found in poor condition in 2011.
