>> Under a new state law to address unfunded liability in the public-worker health care fund, the state budget director would have the authority starting in fiscal year 2018 to divert general excise tax revenue from the state and hotel room tax revenue from the counties if the state and counties fall short of annual payment targets set by an actuary. A story on B3 Thursday said the counties could lose both general excise tax and hotel room tax revenue.
