Sasahara, Masayo "Rose" Mahi and Jean H. Hamada; sister Kinue Harabe; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Visitation: 5:15 p.m. Thursday at Mililani Mortuary- Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.

Chuong Thanh Hua, 68, of Honolulu, a Roosevelt High School and Stevenson Middle School English teacher for ESLstudents, died in Maluhia Hospital. He was born in Cu Chi, Vietnam. He is survived by wife Anh Tram Vo, sons Chau Hua and John Hua-Vo, daughters Thao Hua-Ngo and Jacky Hua-Vo, sister Tho M., brothers Thanh To and Quoc Huy, and two grandchildren. Vietnam Buddhist services:11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary, Chapel of the Flowers. Cremation to follow. Burial to be held at a later date in Vietnam.

She was a care home owner operator, and he was a retired mason. She was born in Cagayan, Philippines. He was born in Ilocos Norte. They are survived by son Lawrence Francis T. and daughter Ruth Ann T. Ruiz-Nakashima. She is also survived by sisters Gineza Lonzanida, Conception Valencia, Leticia Mercado and Natividad Antonio.
