The Hawaii Host Committee for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting scheduled to be held in Honolulu in November is seeking a contractor to produce a media supplement that would promote economic investment in the islands.
The committee said last week it wants the materials to reach U.S. and Asian companies.
Host Committee Chair Peter Ho says the media supplement will be another way to tell people about Hawaii. He says the committee wants APEC's 15,000 delegates to leave the meeting with an increased awareness and interest in Hawaii's investment opportunities.
The deadline for submission is Friday. The committee plans to announce the contractor selected on April 26.
