Police arrest suspect in Palolo stabbing

Police arrested a 19-year-old man for investigation of attempted murder after an 18-year-old man was stabbed in Palolo Valley this morning.
Police said the two men, who live in a home on Ahe Street, had argued over the use of a room. Police said the older man grabbed a knife and stabbed the victim several times.
Neighbors intervened and the assailant fled the scene. Police located him across the street and arrested him on suspicion of attempted second-degree murder.
The victim was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center in serious condition.
