HANOI, Vietnam — Floods triggered by heavy rains have displaced thousands of villagers in central Vietnam, and left three people dead and three others missing, officials said Monday.
Disaster official Tran Duc Thinh said about 14,000 villagers have been evacuated from their flooded homes. He said a man was killed by floods in Ha Tinh province and three others were reported missing.
The national floods and storms control committee said Monday that one person was reported killed in each of the neighboring provinces of Quang Binh and Quang Tri.
