Viloria knocks out opponent

Brian Viloria scored a seventh-round knockout of Liempetch Sor Veerapol on Friday night at the Ynares Sports Arena in the Philippines.

Viloria (28-3, 16 KOs) dropped Veerapol at the 2:09 mark in the round with a body shot, crippling the fighter.

The victory sets up a world title fight between Viloria and WBO flyweight champion Julio Cesar Miranda some time early next year.

Viloria is currently rated the WBO's No. 1 contender at 112 pounds.
