Rainbow Wahine win basketball opener

Keisha Kanekoa scored 19 points and Breanna Arbuckle added 14 to lead Hawaii to a 66-58 win over Cal State Northridge tonight in the opener of the Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic basketball tournament at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Shawna-Lei Kuehu added 10 points and Kamilah Jackson 11 rebounds for the Rainbow Wahine (1-0).
Violet Alama led the Matadors (0-2) with 16 points and Jasmine Erving added 12.
