Kalihi man allegedly hit girls with 'dangerous instrument'

Police arrested a 24-year-old Kalihi man last night for investigation of second-degree assault and abuse of a family or household member after allegedly striking a 4-year-old girl and 11-year-old girl with a "dangerous instrument."
The assault allegedly occurred at 8:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police did not describe the "dangerous instrument."
The man was arrested at 7 p.m.
